Mistresses of the vegetable bed

Yes I admit it.  While I was away I got called out on laziness!  Something tells me those little sprouts are not heirloom red cabbage growing at the back of my cold frame. You always get caught out in the end.  And I have no doubt I shall pay the price of laziness by my vegetable shoots leaving me.  I have no excuses.  Its not as if my garden is large.  Its not like I have lost interest.  I settled for a quickie when I should have given it my all.  We live and learn.  I can only hope my vegetable sprouts forgive me and choose to stay put and fight it out.

The New Vegetable Garden Gate

Day three of construction projects for the spring and Vito is making a ton of progress.  We have the two new gates almost completed.  I think a little trim work remains.  The coldframe foundation cement is now set so Vito will be appearing with bricks this morning to start building out the coldframes.
